Nutrition & Health Education Resources (NHER) is a not-for-profit agency that sponsors and administers the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) under the direction of the Arizona Department of Education.  This program promotes good eating habits in young children by offering nutrition education and cash reimbursement for meals and snacks to day care providers.

If you provide childcare in your home and are feeding the children in your care, you may be eligible to receive monthly reimbursement from USDA. All day care children from birth to 13 years of age (up to 18 if special needs) are eligible to participate. If you meet the income eligibility requirements, you may also be reimbursed for your own children’s meals.
